What this is
ComboShelf is a free reference for keyboard shortcuts, operated by Inyonitech Solutions (Pty) Ltd. There is no account, no subscription and no payment. Using the site means accepting what is on this page.
What you may do with what is here
Read it, print it, screenshot it, pin it above your desk, and share a link to it. Print a page for your colleagues or your class and hand it round. None of that needs our permission.
What you may not do is copy the directory wholesale — scrape the pages, or reproduce a substantial part of the collection, in order to publish it elsewhere or build a competing reference from it. The individual shortcuts are facts and nobody owns a fact; the work of gathering, checking, grouping and writing them up is ours.
The shortcuts themselves
Every set on this site was checked against the source named on its page, on the date named on its page. Software changes. A shortcut can be altered in an update, remapped by your employer, taken by another program running in the background, or absent from the version you happen to have. Where a page names the vendor's own documentation, that documentation is the authority and this site is a convenience.
If you find something here that is wrong, write to hello@comboshelf.com and we will check it and fix it.
Other people's trademarks
Windows, Excel and Word are trademarks of Microsoft. macOS and Finder are trademarks of Apple. Chrome and Google Sheets are trademarks of Google. The other products named on this site are the trademarks of their own owners. They are named here only to say which product a shortcut belongs to, which is what trademarks are for.
The small icon beside each app's name is a general-purpose icon from a free icon set; no product's own logo or icon is used. Every product and its maker is listed on the trademarks and credits page.
ComboShelf is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any of the companies whose products it documents. If you own one of those marks and would rather it were not shown here, write to hello@comboshelf.com and it will be removed.
If you send us something
If you email us a correction, an addition or a suggestion, you are giving us permission to use it on the site without payment or credit. Please do not send us anything confidential or anything you are not free to share.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break the site, overload it, or use it to distribute anything harmful. Do not use automated tools to download it in bulk.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is complete, that it is free of errors, or that it will always be available. We may change it, move it or stop publishing it at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, or from relying on anything you read here. This site is free, it gives information rather than advice, and you use it at your own discretion.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for gross negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the equivalent law where you live are unaffected by anything on this page.
Links to other sites
The app pages link to the documentation each set was checked against. Those sites are not ours, we do not control them and we are not responsible for what they contain.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
