Edge keyboard shortcuts
Edge gives its reading tools keys of their own: F9 for Immersive Reader on both systems, and Ctrl+Shift+U or Cmd+Shift+U for Read Aloud. Microsoft lists Windows and Mac separately and the Mac list is shorter, so some Mac cells read Not listed. Collections, once on Ctrl+Shift+Y, was retired in Edge 149 in June 2026 and is left out.

Next
Chrome
Most of these hold in Edge, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi too, because they all share the same engine and the same conventions.
Windows
These are the system shortcuts: they work on the desktop and inside almost any app, because Windows handles them before the app ever sees the key press.
macOS
These work in the Finder and, with few exceptions, in every app that follows Apple's conventions.
Outlook
New Outlook for Windows and Outlook for Mac do the same jobs with different keys: Ctrl+F forwards a message on Windows, where a Mac forwards with Cmd+J.
